I’ll introduce myself to you Lumpi is my name
Belgian Shepherd is my breed I’ll try not to sound too vain
My coat is long and soft and black I’m such a friendly hound
The centre of attention is where I’m always found
I love to run be patted I’m sensitive and shrewd
I know just how to con you into treating me with food
My inborn instinct comes to life when running round for fun
I try to herd the other dogs I’ll nip them on the bum
I seek out cats while on my walks I know they hide in drains
But I’m quick to pull my nose out as their claws can cause real pain
I play a trick on visitors a fetish you might say
I snitch their spectacle cases and quietly sneak away
I’m trained to visit old folk I love their gentle ways
They’re always pleased to see me as I brighten up their days
My boss…. Well she’s my special mate and I’m the lucky one
For she chose ME from the litter to be her special chum.
